Welcome to The PassionLit Lab — a creative and wellness-centered membership space designed to help adults reconnect with their voice, their momentum, and their joy. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) describe how membership works, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you as part of our community.

By accessing or using any part of The PassionLit Lab (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the membership”), you agree to these Terms. If anything here feels unclear, you’re always welcome to reach out.

1. Eligibility

The PassionLit Lab is designed for adults.
By joining, you confirm you are:

18 years of age or older, and
Able to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement.

2. What Your Membership Includes

Your membership experience may include:

Weekly Momentum Calls (recorded and added to the Wix Members Area)
Access to the Wix Members Area, including chat/message boards, prompts, updates, and member-only content
Tools, guides, and creative/wellness resources
Member perks, seasonal bonuses, and unique opportunities
In-person gatherings (some included, some separately ticketed)
Optional visibility opportunities (“Opportunities to Shine”) with your consent

Offerings may evolve over time as the membership grows and expands.

3. Creating Your Member Account

To access your membership content, you’ll create an account in the Wix Members Area.

You agree to:

Provide accurate and updated information
Keep your login credentials private
Notify us about any unauthorized account use
Take responsibility for activities under your account

We may suspend or remove access if these Terms are violated.

4. Billing & Payments

Membership is billed on a monthly recurring basis.

By joining, you authorize The PassionLit Lab (and our payment processor) to automatically charge your chosen payment method on the schedule shown at checkout.

If a payment fails, we may attempt to process it again and/or pause access until resolved.

Applicable taxes may be added based on your location.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time through your account or by contacting us at contact@thepassionlitlab.com.
After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Refunds

To protect members and maintain clarity:

Refunds are offered ONLY to first-time members
Refund request must be submitted within 3 days of your initial signup date
No refunds are issued for renewals, reactivations, or recurring monthly charges

Event-specific refunds (for separately ticketed events) will be listed at the event’s checkout page.

6. Community Spaces

A. Free Community Space (Optional: Discord)

We offer an optional, free-tier community space on Discord for individuals who sign up for our free member tier or provide an email address.

Please note:

Discord is not part of the paid membership benefits
Discord may or may not include announcements or updates
Official updates are always delivered through email and the website
Discord may change or be discontinued at any time
Participation is optional and governed by both our posted guidelines and Discord’s own policies

Discord is meant to be an accessible, open space — but not a contractual membership deliverable.

B. Members-Only Community Space (Wix Members Area)

Paid members receive access to the Wix Members Area, which serves as the primary and official home for:

Member chat/message boards
Prompts and discussions
Event details
Replays
Resources
Announcements specific to the membership

This is the central community environment included with your paid membership.

C. Free-Tier Previews & Site Resources

We may provide free previews such as a public-facing calendar or introductory resources for non-members or free-tier members. These may change, expand, or be removed at any time.

7. Community Expectations

The PassionLit Lab is built on warmth, respect, creativity, and support.
We ask that you:

Treat other members with kindness and consideration
Share respectfully and constructively
Protect your privacy and the privacy of others
Avoid harassment, discrimination, harmful language, or disruptive behavior
Refrain from spam, self-promotion, or advertising unless expressly allowed
Follow moderator guidance and community rules posted in each space

We may remove content or revoke access (without refund) if conduct harms the community.

8. Your Content & Media Release

Your Content (Inside Community Spaces)

You retain ownership of anything you share inside the membership.
By posting content within our community spaces, you grant us a limited license to display your content only within the membership platforms for operational purposes.

Media Release (Opt-In Only)

If we request to feature your name, likeness, quotes, or creative work publicly (such as in marketing or member showcases), we will always ask for your explicit opt-in consent first.

You may withdraw consent for future use at any time.

9. Our Intellectual Property

All materials created by or for The PassionLit Lab — including guides, videos, replays, resources, branding, and templates — are protected by intellectual property laws.

You agree not to:

Copy, resell, reproduce, or redistribute our materials
Share member-only content outside the membership
Record sessions or distribute recordings

Your membership grants you a personal, non-transferable license for your individual use.

10. Events (Virtual & In-Person)

Included Events

Some events are included with membership.

Ticketed Events

Other events may require additional purchase.

Recordings

Certain virtual sessions may be recorded and shared with members.

In-Person Events: Assumption of Risk

In-person attendance is voluntary and at your own risk.

The PassionLit Lab is not responsible for:

Personal property
Health issues
Venue conditions
Third-party conduct
Travel or lodging expenses

Each event may have its own refund or transfer rules.

11. Wellness & Educational Disclaimer

The PassionLit Lab is a creative and wellness-supportive environment, not a professional service provider. We do not offer:

Medical advice
Mental health treatment
Legal advice
Financial advice

You are responsible for your personal decisions, interpretations, and outcomes.

12. No Guaranteed Outcomes

Everyone’s journey is different.
We do not guarantee specific creative, emotional, wellness, or professional results.

13. Third-Party Tools & Integrations

We use platforms such as Wix and Discord to support your experience.
We are not responsible for:

Their outages
Policy changes
Availability
Data handling outside our control

By using these services, you also agree to their terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

Payments are not completed
You violate these Terms
Behavior harms or disrupts the community
We discontinue or update membership offerings

Refunds are not issued for accounts terminated due to violations.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

The PassionLit Lab is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to the membership fees paid in the 60 days prior to any claim

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify The PassionLit Lab against claims arising from:

Your actions
Your content
Your use of the membership
Your violation of these Terms

17. Dispute Resolution

If concerns arise, you agree to contact us first at contact@thepassionlitlab.com to attempt informal resolution.

If unresolved, disputes will be handled in the courts of Nevada.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the membership evolves.
The “Last Updated” date will reflect any changes.
Continued use after modifications signifies acceptance of the updated Terms.
